Why do we ask for your TFN consent?

If you want to search for any lost super or other super you may hold with other funds, you’ll need to provide your consent to use your TFN to make the search. The Australian Tax Office (ATO) will use your Tax File Number (TFN) to search their records for other super accounts you may have. Any lost super (money held by the ATO) will be automatically combined with your account if any is found. You’ll also receive a list of the funds they have recorded as belonging to you with an indication of how much is in each. You can then choose whether you want to transfer them into your account.

To provide TFN consent:

  1. Login to MembersOnline
  2. Select the Profile menu, then 'My details'
  3. Click the 'Provide Consent' button in the TFN section

You can also provide your consent while searching for lost or other super when using the Consolidate tab in MembersOnline.
