VicSuper's Executive team

VicSuper's executive management team are responsible for developing strategies to continually improve outcomes for members

The VicSuper Executive management team meets approximately twice a month.

Under the leadership of the Chief Executive, the team is responsible for:

  • developing policies and strategies for consideration by the board of directors
  • implementing policies approved by the Trustee, and
  • building organisational capacity.

Michael Dundon 
Michael Dundon
Chief Executive

Michael was appointed Chief Executive of VicSuper in 2011 and is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Fund.

He works closely with the Executive Team and the Board to develop and implement plans and strategies that ensure the Fund continues to meet the needs of members and employers.

Michael has extensive experience in the banking & finance, insurance and utilities industries and previously held the positions of CEO at ESSSuper and General Manager Finance at TRUenergy Australia Pty Ltd.

Michael is also a director of VicSuper Ecosystem Services Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of VicSuper that facilitates investment in sustainable agriculture and new markets for ecosystem services.

Michael has Bachelor of Economics and is a Chartered Accountant.



Ruby Chi
Ruby Chi
Chief Financial Officer


Ruby leads the Finance team and is responsible for the fiscal oversight of VicSuper.

As well as meeting VicSuper's financial and regulatory obligations, Ruby's team drives continuous improvement and supports other business areas to deliver projects and initiatives through planning and forecasting, analytics and monitoring.

Ruby has been with VicSuper since 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investments.

Ruby is also a Certified Practising Accountant.



Clare Tam

Executive Manager Member & Employer Services, and Chief Information Officer


Clare operates across the business covering member, employer and IT services.

Clare and the Member and Employer Services teams are responsible for delivering quality services to members and employers. As Chief Information Officer, Clare and IT Services develop IT strategy and deliver projects and services across the business.

Clare has a strong background in financial services. She worked in senior and executive management roles at VicSuper between 1994 and 2000 and held executive level positions at HSBC before returning to VicSuper in 2012.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Chartered Tax Adviser, Clare has a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma of Financial Planning.




Andrew Howard
Chief Investment Officer

Andrew and the Investment team oversee the investment strategy and operations of VicSuper as approved by the Trustee and Investment Committee.

The team works closely with the Fund’s investment consultants and external fund managers in managing the Fund’s investments focused on meeting member objectives, along with providing advice to the Trustee and Investment Committee.

Andrew joined VicSuper in late 2016 as Chief Investment Officer. Andrew has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years with investment roles held within asset consulting, superannuation and funds management. He has previously held the positions of Chief Investment Officer, Asia Pacific at Mercer, and was Head of Manager Research at Frontier Advisors. Andrew has extensive portfolio management expertise across all asset classes encompassing asset allocation, portfolio design and manager selection.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma Applied Finance & Investment, and is a Fellow, Finsia.

Jen Lord
Jennifer Lord
Executive Manager People and Culture


Jennifer and her team develop and implement strategies, programs and systems that make VicSuper a great company to work for, and that attract and retain talented employees.

People and Culture partner with business leaders to manage and advise on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, learning and development, engagement, reward and employee wellbeing.

Jennifer has a Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management, and has worked in senior and management roles for companies such as Ansvar Insurance Group, MLC, OAMPS and Plum Financial Services.


Danny Hsu

General Counsel & Company Secretary


Danny leads the Legal and Compliance & Risk Management teams and is responsible for the frameworks designed to ensure VicSuper's compliance with relevant legislation, and has appropriate governance as well as risk management practices in place.

Danny also acts as the Company Secretary of VicSuper, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws, Master of Law (In-house Practice), and is a current Australian Legal Practitioner

Danny has over eight years of experience as a commercial lawyer, and has been with VicSuper since 2005.


Sara Daymond

Sara leads the Marketing team in building member engagement, helping deliver new organic growth and positioning the VicSuper brand. Sara and her team are responsible for VicSuper’s member and employer communications and campaigns, sustainability initiatives, market research, data analysis, digital activity and business development.

A passionate advocate of member education and the customer experience, Sara has worked in roles across distribution, product management, strategy and marketing for institutions such as AXA/AMP, Esanda Finance, ANZ Funds Management and Plum Financial Services.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Certificate of Digital Marketing.



Joshua Parisotto
Executive Manager Distribution


Joshua joined VicSuper in September 2016 and leads the financial planning, express super advice and business development teams. Joshua and his team are responsible for driving growth and retention by delivering quality financial planning and advice to members and boosting new employer growth in addition to working with the broader business on developing alliance opportunities.

Joshua has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry including financial advice, compliance, practice management and para planning. He has proven experience at a diverse range of organisations including AXA, RACV and Bank of Melbourne. Most recently he held senior positions at IOOF and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. 

He has a Bachelor of Business, Graduate Diploma in Management and is a Certified Financial Planner.
