VicSuper encourages staff to participate in volunteering and fundraising activities with local charities through our Community Involvement Program.

This enables staff to learn more about a range of community issues and volunteer their time to help those in need. The opportunity to volunteer also plays an important role in staff learning and development.

Currently, VicSuper has established partnerships including:

Partnerships with other Australian charities are also being developed.

Regular activities

Each year, VicSuper staff participate in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea which supports cancer research and education, as well as Ride to Work Day which promotes a healthy lifestyle and the environmental benefits of leaving the car at home. In addition, VicSuper is a member of Club Red, a Red Cross initiative for companies. This makes donating blood easier, thus encouraging more staff to donate.

Every two months a team at VicSuper chooses a charity to support for our staff casual clothes day, which requires a gold coin donation. Charities supported over the years include:

  • The Leukaemia Foundation
  • National Breast Cancer Foundation
  • Sids and Kids Victoria
  • Victorian Bushfire Fund
  • The Winter Blanket Appeal
  • Very Special Kids Piggy Bank Appeal.
