Under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, the team is responsible for the day-to-day management of our operations and implementing the policies and strategies set by the Board.

He works closely with the Executive team and the Board to develop and implement plans and strategies that ensure the Fund continues to meet the needs of members and employers.
Michael has extensive experience in the banking, finance, insurance and utilities industries and previously held the positions of CEO at ESSSuper and General Manager Finance at TRUenergy Australia Pty Ltd.
Michael is also a director of VicSuper Ecosystem Services Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of VicSuper that facilitates investment in sustainable agriculture and new markets for ecosystem services.
Prior to VicSuper, Tony was a Senior Consultant, Manager Research at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) – a position he held for over ten years. Prior to WTW, Tony was Director of Consulting, Asia Pacific and a Senior Manager Researcher at Mercer Investment Consulting, and was Head of Global Fixed Interest – External Managers at QIC.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He is also a Fellow of FINSIA.
Sam is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in the general insurance, superannuation, legal advice and financial services industries. Most recently he has been working as Chief Financial Officer at the Guild Group (Guild Insurance, Guild Super & Meridian Lawyers) for almost 10 years. Sam previously held senior management and executive roles with the OAMPS Group and Ernst & Young.
Danny also acts as the Company Secretary of VicSuper and is a current Australian Legal Practitioner. He has over fourteen years of experience as a commercial lawyer.
Prior to VicSuper, Simon was the CIO at Defence Health and has also held roles at Court Services Victoria, City of Playford and SA Health.
Andi leads the People Experience team in creating and executing people strategies that attract, develop, harness and engage talent to deliver on our value proposition enable our people to deliver fund performance.
Andi is a highly energetic HR leader with over 20 years’ success in establishing and shaping talent and culture agendas.
She has proven experience over a range of industries including professional services, financial services, technology, not-for-profit, healthcare and government sectors. Most recently she held senior roles at Boston Consulting Group and IQ Group.
Jon’s qualifications include the CFP® Certification, Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently completing an MBA.
Martin has over 30 years experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Compliance and Information Security and previously held positions of General Manager, Operational Risk & Compliance nab Business Banking, Chief Risk Officer, Tandem Corporation and Asia Pacific Chief Risk Officer for Fidelity Information Systems. Martin has worked extensively in Australasia, South East Asia, India, US and UK in various senior risk management roles.
The CEO and Executive remuneration is determined upon recommendations from the Remuneration Committee who take independent advice from external remuneration specialists.
