VicSuper to phase out investment in tobacco
With tobacco products imposing a significant burden on society in terms of health care and environmental costs, the Board and management team at VicSuper approved to move away from investing in this industry.
Super changes
Due to legislation changes, VicSuper will be required to charge a fee for a small portion of our advice services from 1 July 2013.
Change in cash contributions process
For the safety and security of our members and staff, there will be a change in the way cash contributions are processed in all VicSuper advice centres, effective from 1 June 2013.

Changes to the superannuation guarantee
The superannuation guarantee contribution rate will be raised from 9% to 12%, in a phased approach beginning 1 July 2013. Also, more workers will be eligible for SG contributions.
